Isodyne designs and manufactures a patented Tool-Less Braid Termination System for EMI backshells, engineered for wire harnesses requiring EMI/RFI, HERF, and lightning protection. Both individual shields and overbraid are terminated at the backshell using a single band, improving electrical performance while allowing easy re-entry.

The removable and reusable band enables quick repair or system upgrades without calibrated tools. In service since 1990, this technology is widely used in high shock and vibration environments, including land systems like the M1/A2 tank, military helicopters, C-130 aircraft, KC-135 tankers, and unmanned vehicles.
